SG: Furano 85 　ワールドカップの優勝回数は３回だが、イタリアを代表するダウンヒラーの一人。ヘルベルト・プランク、ミハエル・マイル、クリスチャン・ゲディーナとイタリア・ダウンヒラーの系譜は続く。最初の勝利は1982年、マドンナ・ディ・カンピリオ(ITA)におけるスーパーＧだが、後の２勝はダウンヒルである。'85年のバルディゼール(FRA)でダウンヒル初優勝。２勝目はウェンゲン(SUI)の代替え戦として行なわれたロイケルバッド(SUI).。このときは２位にピアンタニーダ、３位にペラトーナーと表彰台をイタリア人が独占する快挙を成し遂げた。現在はイタリア・ナショナルチームのコーチとしてピステにたっている。
