| スラロームスペシャリスト。11年間のワールドカップ生活で１勝しか上げられなかったが、何故か人気があった。日本人選手やプレスの間ではとくに人気があり、「ルパン」の愛称で親しまれていた。何故「ルパン」かというと「ルパン３世」によく似ていたからだ。彼を「ルパン」と呼び出したのは佐藤譲だったと思うが岡部哲也だったかも知れない。 |
