ロードウィックは2001年１月25日、故郷のスティームボート・スプリングスで行なわれたレースでワールドカップ４勝目を上げた。アメリカの選手は自国開催のレースではフルにモチベーションをかき立てる。
「アールブ（Jan-Erick Aalbu=NC ジャンプコーチ）が戻ってきて我々のチャンスは大きくなった。彼は良い方向に我々を導くことができる」。ラハティ世界選手権では計画したようにはいかなかったが、2002年ソルトレーク五輪ではこれを証明するだろう。
